You send a document, we send back a finished Easy Read version, and nothing is final until you've checked every page. Longer handbooks can take a little more time, and we'll tell you the date before we start.
The steps
Day 1
Send us your document
Email the Word file or PDF to hello@clearpages.com.au. A blank template is best, so no participant's details come through. Attach your logo if it isn't on your website.
Same day
We confirm the price and date
Nothing starts until you say go.
Usually within 3 business days
We write and design it
Every sentence rewritten in Easy Read, a picture for each idea, a word list for hard words, and your colours and logo throughout. Every promise, right, timeframe and phone number from your original stays in.
Your turn
You check every page
Read it through, ideally with a resident or two, and ask for any changes. Two rounds of changes are included.
When you're happy
Approve, pay, done
We send the invoice, payment is due within 7 days, and the print ready file is yours.

How we keep it accurate
We simplify the words, never the meaning. Every right, amount, timeframe and phone number stays exactly as your original has it, and any hard word we have to keep goes in the word list with a plain explanation.
Nothing is final until you've read it and told us it's right.
The best check is the people you support. Share the draft with a resident or two, and if they suggest changes, we'll make them free.
