What we do

We rewrite a document you give us in Easy Read: short sentences, pictures and a word list, laid out in your colours. We include only what your document says. We do not give legal, clinical or compliance advice, and we do not check whether your policies meet the NDIS Practice Standards or any law.

How we make it

We use software tools to help draft the plain language and lay out the pages. A person checks every document against your original before we send it to you.

Your part

You confirm you have the right to give us the document. Please remove participants' names and personal details before sending it. You check the finished Easy Read version is accurate before you use or share it. Where the original is an agreement, the original stays the official document, and the Easy Read version explains it.

Price, changes and payment

Prices are fixed and set by the length of the original document, as listed on our pricing page. We confirm the price before we start. Two rounds of changes are included. We send an invoice once you approve the document, and payment is due within 7 days. No GST applies.

Ownership

Once paid for, the finished document is yours to use, print, change and share. A free sample is yours to use in the same way. The pictures we use are open licence icons that you are free to keep using. We may keep a copy for our records. We will never share your document with other customers or businesses, or use it to promote our business without your permission. Your document does pass through the software tools we use to make it, as described in our privacy statement.

Privacy

We only use your document to make your Easy Read version. If it contains anyone's personal information, we will not copy it into the Easy Read version, and we delete the original when the job is finished.

Our responsibility

We take care to make every document accurate and easy to understand, but we cannot promise any audit or registration outcome. If something we made is wrong, tell us and we will fix it free of charge. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility is limited to the price you paid for that document. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
